The topiary field is an example of horticultural artwork: topiary plants are trimmed and shaped into specialized figures and designs. Creating a Centerpiece
One of the more common uses for silk plants, flower arrangements, and other small home decor trinkets is as a centerpiece. They are usually displayed somewhere where everyone can see them. The goal is not only to create something attractive, but also enhance the other elements of the home. The best centerpieces lead ones eye to look at several different things. For instance, a flower centerpiece that has an X. pattern or direction causes viewers to their eyes from the top left to the bottom right and vice versa. Some arrangements do this by having long strands crossing in the middle. Another great design to incorporate is an arch. The arch can be accomplished by using a variety of flowers, grass, or other shrubbery forming a dome-like shape, with flowers weaving through it. The Internet, florist shops, magazines, furniture stores, and even other peoples homes are great places to gather ideas for your centerpiece designs.
